General Statement Regarding Sustainability

Sustainability is important to A-one Shopstore. We continually strive to improve while still offering you the quality products you deserve.

It's no secret: the fashion industry has an ecological problem. We know that all the major manufacturers stock thousands of new items every week, exacerbating the growing problem of overproduction. Furthermore, an estimated 21% of textiles produced remain unsold. Needless to say, the end-of-life of this dormant stock is often unknown.

Because A-one Shopstore works with on-demand suppliers, we only produce an item when we receive an order, which allows us to avoid the textile waste associated with overproduction. Our partner's high-quality printing technology produces virtually no wastewater and consumes less energy than industry-standard printers.

Production Information

Each product in our catalog is made to order: once you place your order, we produce, to avoid overproduction or textile waste. We are constantly looking for more environmentally friendly production methods.

Information on Printing Techniques and Materials

About Direct-to-Garment Printing

Please note:

This technique is generally used for products made primarily of cotton, such as t-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, etc.

Our clothing is made using a variety of techniques. Many of our products are printed using the direct-to-garment (DTG) printing technique, in which the ink is first sprayed directly onto the garment before being completely absorbed by the fabric.

It's like printing on paper, but on clothing! We use Kornit printers, which release virtually no wastewater and consume less energy than industry-standard printers, reducing our carbon footprint.

The inks we use for printing are Oeko-Tex™ certified, vegan, water-based, and free from chemicals harmful to health and the environment. A-one Shopstore takes sustainability seriously, which is why we ensure the proper disposal of leftover ink in accordance with our ink supplier's guidelines.

About Embroidery

At A-one Shopstore, we embroider our products with 100% recycled polyester threads. These threads are also Oeko-Tex™ certified, meaning they are safe for adults and children.

Compared to printing, embroidery is generally more durable and generates less waste, as there is no ink residue.

Eco-friendly Materials

There are many reasons why a product or material can be considered eco-friendly. Currently, at A-one Shopstore, our collection of eco-friendly products consists of items made from at least 70% eco-friendly or recycled materials, or a blend of both. Our cosmetics are certified natural.

To ensure the composition of our products, we systematically request valid certificates from our suppliers:

- For eco-friendly products, we only accept GOTS or OCS certificates.

- For materials made from recycled materials, we accept GRS or RCS certificates.

- We only accept the Ecocert COSMOS certificate as proof of the natural origin of our cosmetics.

Production Time Statement

Each product in our catalog is made to order, which means that once you place your order, we begin working to ship it to you as quickly as possible. However, it takes time to create and ship the product. However, manufacturing each order to order allows us to avoid overproduction, allowing us to take care of you and the planet we all share.

Product Packaging

Please note:

This information applies only to our own facilities. Products manufactured by our partners may be packaged differently.

At A-one Shopstore, all clothing is packaged in post-consumer recycled plastic (also known as PCR) envelopes.

The amount of PCR in the packaging varies depending on where your order is processed, but it is at least 70% PCR for both the outer shipping envelopes (white or gray) and the inner sleeves (clear) used for multi-item shipments.

PCR envelopes are made from common consumer products such as used plastic bags and bottles. This material protects your items just as well as regular plastic envelopes. The advantage of this recycled material over first-use plastics is that it reduces the environmental impact of plastic on our planet.
